Gypsy Jar

another gift for #Artcrossing which is a FANTASTIC group, sort of like secret santa but throughout the entire year i suggest you all join!

the profile i received this time said that she loved "belly-dance clothing", as well as steampunk, and stuff around that theme. this was shortly after i finished Gears though, so i wasn't in the mood for a repeat performance. so i stuck with the gypsy type theme, even though i'm pretty sure she meant that for sewers

i painted a gold base for this one, then looked up a bunch of stock photos of gypsies and referenced jewelry or scarves or, in one case, peacock feathers.
