FeaturedComments I love your soda flowers! I'm not sure what to do with em, but I think they'd be really super beautiful turned into a huge wall piece; just add the branches. ^_^!
Also, just thought of this browsing through all of your bottles...but have you ever thought of making ones entirely to play with light? You know those tiny little LED's that fit into balloons? That is what fits under my flower fairy egg and works as a light source. I think it would also work out really nicely for your bottles, because glass is clear, and lights are fun and could show the little details well if it were say, black and clear.  thanks! yeah, i just really liked making the flowers, and i made them into hair clips, but they aren't super-popular (probably because they're a bit difficult to put on!). i think turning it into a wall piece is a cool idea. now i have to try it
 and i've made a piece before that was supposed to be for light, for a friend, but i didn't get much feedback on it  though i think a black piece with a candle in it would look cool! you're just full of awesome ideas!!  Hairclips are cool too. ^_^ But these are so pretty, and a ton of them blooming would just be awesome! ^___^ I think both ways would be good. I just think that if it were me, I'd totally love these soda flowers with some darker metallic branches. Not black cause the whole cherry blossom thing is sooo cliche. But, sort of reminding one of cherry blossoms and Japanese culture with the clean edges, the simpler design. I don't know which cans would work super well,possibly Dr. Pepper cans as the primary, intermingled with striations of Coke Zero to give it bark-like texture. I dunno.
 But I think it'd be fun and would look amazing over a modern living room. |
